Zo het dan nu den koning goeddunkt, laat er gezocht worden in het schathuis des konings aldaar, dat te Babel is, of het zij, dat een bevel van den koning Kores gegeven zij, om dit huis Gods te Jeruzalem te bouwen; en dat men des konings believen hiervan tot ons zende.

Welnu, als het de koning goeddunkt, laat er dan gezocht worden in het schathuis van de koning daar in Babel, of er een bevel door koning Kores gegeven is om dit huis van God in Jeruzalem te herbouwen, en laat men de wil van de koning hierover naar ons toezenden.
