Gij nu, mensenkind, stel u twee wegen voor, waardoor het zwaard des konings van Babel komt; uit een land zullen zij beide voortkomen; en kies een zijde, kies ze aan het hoofd van den weg der stad.

En u, mensenkind, teken voor uzelf twee wegen waarlangs het zwaard van de koning van Babel kan komen. Ze moeten beide uit één land voortkomen. Plaats dan een wegwijzer en plaats hem aan het begin van de weg naar de stad.
