Ziet, het land der Chaldeën; dit volk was er niet; Assur heeft het gefondeerd voor degenen, die in de wildernissen woonden; zij richtten hun sterkten op, en bouwden hun paleizen, maar Hij heeft het tot een vervallen hoop gesteld.
