Esther 9:1

In de twaalfde maand nu (dezelve is de maand Adar), op den dertienden dag derzelve, toen des konings woord en zijn wet nabij gekomen was, dat men het doen zou, ten dage, als de vijanden der Joden hoopten over hen te heersen, zo is het omgekeerd, want de Joden heersten zelven over hun haters.

In de twaalfde maand, dat is de maand Adar, op de dertiende dag ervan, toen het moment gekomen was om het woord van de koning en zijn wet uit te voeren, op de dag waarop de vijanden van de Joden hoopten hen in hun macht te krijgen, gebeurde het omgekeerde, want de Joden zelf kregen hun haters in hun macht.
