En de Fonteinpoort verbeterde Sallum, de zoon van Kol-Hozé, overste van het deel van Mizpa; hij bouwde ze, en overdekte ze, en richtte haar deuren op, met haar sloten en haar grendelen; daartoe den muur des vijvers Schelah bij des konings hof, en tot aan de trappen, die afgaan van Davids stad.

De Bronpoort herstelde Sallun, de zoon van Kol-Hoze, hoofd van het district Mizpa. Hij herbouwde hem, overdekte hem, en plaatste zijn deuren, met zijn sluitbalken en zijn grendels. Ook herstelde hij de muur van de vijver van Siloam bij de tuin van de koning en tot aan de trappen die afdalen vanuit de stad van David.
